Dr. Stephen Nelson Rummage is a native of North Carolina born just a day after Christmas in the year 1968. He was raised and grew up in the United States.

Before attending the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned himself a M.Div, Dr. Stephen Rummage finished from the University of North Carolina where he received a Bachelor’s degree. He holds also a Ph.D from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in preaching. Hence the title of Dr. Stephen Rummage.
Dr. Stephen Nelson Rummage Career and Ministry
Pastor Stephen Rummage is the founder of “Moving Forward” which he established in 2010. The radio broadcast has remained active and airs till date. Moving Forward is a 25 minutes radio teaching ministry that airs all around the world on a daily basis. Dr. Rummage employs humor and storytelling on his daily radio teaching to preach the bible in a simple and engaging way.
He served as a senior pastor at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Florida from 2009 – 2019. In March of 2019, Pastor Stephen Rummage became senior pastor of Quail Springs Baptist Church and continues to pastor there till date.
Pastor Rummage prior to his call to serve as senior pastor in Quail Springs Baptist Church and across the years has pastored in churches in Virginia, Florida and many other places in the U.S before moving to Oklahoma. He served also as an associate professor of preaching in Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and director of doctor of ministry program from 1997 – 2004.
