Yolanda DeBerry Biography
Yolanda grew up in Southside Jamaica Queens with a family of musicians including her parents, sibling, and extended relatives. She grew up singing in church. Her father was Gary DeBerry Sr. She was born on the 26th of August 1985.
Yolanda DeBerry Career and Ministry
Yolanda found her passion for Gospel music when she joined her church’s music ministry as a little girl. Yolanda recorded her first song, “Joys of Life” with her father, Gary DeBerry Sr.
Yoli won “The Gospel” reality show in 2019 and was awarded a national management contract with T.D Jakes’s Dexterity Sounds and Marquis Boone Music Group. “The Gospel” was the first of its kind Gospel music competition of eight episodes that saw contestants compete to win the national management contract. In all there were six gospel artist competing for the award. Yoli released her debut single, “What a Beautiful Name” in 2020.
