Gregory Duane Locke the founder of Global Vision Bible Church was born on the 18th of May 1976 in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S. He did not have the best childhood as his father was arrested and imprisoned for the most of Locke’s early life. His mother went on to remarry when Locke was 5 but he did not get along with his stepfather. At the teenage age of 15, Locke was sent to a children’s home after having been arrested severally. It was in this children’s home that Greg Locke embraced Christianity.

Greg Locke earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical studies from Ambassador Baptist College between 1995 – 1998. He went on to bag a Master’s Degree in Revival History from Theological School of New England between 1998 and 2000.

Greg got engaged to his first wife Melissa Biggers in 1995. The two met at Good Shepherd Children’s Home while Greg was there as a ward of the state while Melissa was a facility staff. GREG LOCKE MINISTRY
Global Vision Bible Church was founded in 2006 by Greg Locke as Global Vision Baptist Church. It was following the split from the independent Baptist movement in 2011 that the church had its name changed. He is the lead pastor of the church till date. Locke hosts a weekly radio broadcast called, “The Windows Of Heaven” as well as an annual conference known as “Fire For The Future.” Greg is the founding director of an independent Baptist College located in Nigeria and also the leader of Greg Locke Ministries. He was the executive producer of the film, “Come Out In Jesus Name” produced by Locke Media in 2023.

In 2020, Locke dismissed COVID-19 as a fake pandemic and even went as far as threatening to kick out anyone who wore a face mask to his church. He flaunted public health and safety measures with regards to the pandemic and was not in support of people receiving the vaccine. Locke has come under criticism severally for some of his preaching’s relating to health, social and political issues including his claim that autismautism was something tied to demonic possession.
Also, following his regular preaching against witchcraft, possession and demons, Locke held a bonfire where he burnt books which he believed to have witchcraft related contents including “Harry Potter” and “Twilight”.
